Wed. Night Impact

Last Wed. was a special Wed. We kept everybody together. It was kinda weird because it was a super big group. It was also the last Wed. with the 8th graders. We played a big game of dodge ball in the Activity Center. Then we all went upstairs. Jerry spoke to us all. He talked about being willing to do whatever God asks us to do, and don't miss it. He then announced to everybody that he was leaving to start another church up the road and that he would no longer be the senior high pastor. Many kids were sad to hear about this. He also announced that his replacement would be Jeff Roussin, who is one of the high school volunteer leaders. We're all excited about Jeff coming on. Anyways, Jerry's last day will be August 31, and Jeff will start in September, but won't be in the office full-time until the beginning of October.
