Cartoon

There is a blog that I go to pretty often called ASBOJesus. It's a guy who writes and draws comic strips. They're usually pretty funny and they all have to do with ministry. Here is one that I read today that I thought was pretty funny.

But it also has a lot of truth in it. I think there are a lot of people who point out things to make others look worse than they are. Like in this strip, the man is making the man in the wheelchair feel like less of a man. It seems that he has good intentions, because he is praying for him, but people don't want to feel like they are less than someone else. Someone who doesn't believe in Jesus doesn't want to feel like they are dumber or lost or a worse person just because they don't believe. A Believer may have great intentions in pointing out the fact that they don't believe, and their intentions are for them to become believers and go to heaven because they care for people's souls, but the way you come across is important. It's important not to come across as making yourself look or feel better than someone else. Or even like you have all the answers. You may have THE answer, but the way you communicate that to someone who doesn't believe can make a big impact.
